Bonne Nuit.

Good night.
This is my cue to get some sleep.
7days from now I will be 45minutes into my long journey to Paris.
Excited? yes.
Bonne Nuit.

Black&White.

Potential outfit?

hmm.

I absolutely love my black skirt. Sometimes I think I wear it too much!
I love my stripes. Very Parisian, don't you think?
Denim jacket. Recent purchase that I can't seem to put down.
My scarf. yes. so cosy, bit fluffy. Perfect for cold weather. Maybe some thicker tights?

I definitely will be taking these garments to Paris, just maybe change the outfit round a little. Agree?

Just thought a little insight to my wardrobe would be perfect to experiment. Recent purchases will be loaded soon. Excited.

To Buy?

Welcome. Bonsoir.

Potential purchase.

I'm undecided whether to buy.
Thinking, yes!

Its not from Topshop, which I'm rather pleased about. Why? I wonder how many Paris garments will be bought from Topshop for the trip? I'm really liking the choice of pink and white. Not really a pink girl. Biggest fan of blue/ black. What I do love is the black sequined Eiffel Tower, it stands out so much. I am warming to this sweat very much.

Definitely not going to lie. I have bought a few pieces from Topshop which will be put up on asap. But I thought I would branch out.

As Paris is getting closer I am wanting to buy it more. Any thoughts?

Givenchy.

PARIS FASHION WEEK.
SS10 - Women's/ Men's wear
Givenchy Ready - To - Wear

This men's wear collection was all about monochrome,
with crisp white shirts and black trousers.

This collection presents hard and soft shapes combining masculine shapes with garments adorned with lace.

I love the dark, sexy aesthetic Givenchy infused with poetry and romance.
RICCARDO TISCI'S success falls from the unique and beautiful show in Paris Fashion Week.

The V - shaped necklines in black&white are amazing. I love the combination and use of the chiffon and lace within the garments. They add drama and differentiation to the catwalk.

I thought a little peak of forthcoming trends for SS10 would be ideal to be recognized prior to the trip, so when visiting stores they will be easily identified.

Also I think it will be cool to see if there are any fashion savvy consumers using the new trends on the streets. Documenting street style will help to develop and broaden my awareness for the menswear street style as well as the women.

Ooo-la-la Paris.

Bonjour.
Je m'appelle Elizabeth.
Ca va?

Ok. So, I must admit my French is rusty.
I'm better at German.
This is my travel blog for Paris where I will document everything before, during and after. This will include EXCITEMENT, feelings, TRENDS, Sights, smells, packing. So basically everything. With less than two weeks to go the FMB fashion girlies are making their way on a long coach journey to Paris. Excited? Definitely. I'm really looking forward to going, with many a things to do to keep us busy.

I really cant wait. I haven't been to Paris since 1997 when I was just minutes away from where Princess Diana died.

Today a 9AM lecture filled us in with our schedule whilst in Paris. Which I must admit is packed full with plenty to be doing! I am très excited. PARTICULARLY to visit Versaille. I studied Marie Antoinette and the French Revolution at A Level and I am very interested to see the estate and gardens. As well as this we get the chance to experience the Premier Vision which I can imagine being amazing.

The Eiffel Tower is a MUST.

Hopefully I will be able to take home a souvenir of the Eiffel, seeing as when I was last there I managed to leave it on a bench, when I returned someone had already taken it! OOPS.

We get to choose out of three museums on day four this is taken from Louvre. I'm quite keen on this one. I can't wait to get my own pictures.
The blog will be updated daily of my movement. SO EXCITED.
